THE ARCHITECTURE AND THE REVOLUTION OF INTELLIGENCE

   The revolution of intelligence is presented by the specialists as the third big wave of mutation fundamental of the human civilization;  The first was the Neolithic agrarian revolution that makes the era of the production pass the humanity of the age of the picking 10 000 years ago. The revolution handicraft and industrial of the 18° century was the second big wave of transformation fundamental of the civilization. From the middle of the fifties (of the 20° century) begins the third wave, announcing the advent of the symbolic terrific economy, the society of the knowledge and information and the civilization of the knowledge. The main characteristic of the revolution that takes place again under our eyes, is the apparition of a new system of creation of wealth based either on the physical strength, or on matter and the energy, but on information, the knowledge and the knowledge.

With the Neolithic agrarian civilization appear to the first villages, steady human establishments and the sedentarisation. If one has the apparition of the first men carried up to only 500 000 years, the City new human establishment paradigm her, only appears him  5000 years ago in Mesopotamia;  One discovers the writing, Begin of the urban Revolution and the History. 2500 years ago the system of the classic architecture in Greece presents itself like a model to universal range, appears a new shape of objective knowledge:  the science. With the colonization and the export of the models, essentially start the adventure of the world architecture in the old world around the Mediterranean basin.

      The development of the civilization is carried by an architectonic and cognitive civilizing process:  civilization - culture - architecture - knowledge; who beyond the diversity of the cultural models and the aesthetic paradigms, record a progress globally! So the architecture progressed in a continuous manner in spite of the ruptures and the stratifications, every culture inheriting the previous and adding his/her/its clean contribution and his/her/its vision.

      With the Renaissance architect's new profession appears, as us know it again today;  the architects are henceforth of the specialists of the conception arranged among the artists, the intellectuals and the men of sciences;  distinguishing itself/themselves thus of the craftsmen builders and masons, whom they take care of realization way. The project appears then like a representation of a scale model of the building to construct, as proportional plans of execution or models.

      The civilizing, architectonic and cognitive process that the humanity knew all along his/her/its history, was assured by collective, corporative and individual natural memorials;  with the apparition of the typographic culture, the transmission was assured by the writing and the pictures, the books and the treaties. Today the artificial and numeric memorials, replace the natural, typographic and analogical memorization. In architecture of the data bases architecturologic assure in the future the transmission of the architecture; they contain all inventoried architectural systems, classified and systematized as well as the knowledge that allows them to reproduce and to interpret.

      Tunisia affirms its firm engagement every day in the civilization of the knowledge; the organization of the world summit on the society of information in Tunis in November 2005, is a testimony, if necessary, and recognition of the stages cleared by our country on this way.

      The Tunisian architects, who were among the first in the beginning of the years 80 to enter into the process of "  computerization" (to pass the fashions and conventional techniques of treatment to the numeric medium) re stretches their engagement in the sides of the elites of the country for. Opening at the arrival of the symbolic terrific economy, the society of the knowledge and the civilization of intelligence; and work in the domain of their specialty:  The architecture, the urban and the conception of the environment constructs and visual, to carry through the transformations, the adaptations, the upgrading and the formations continues, like that the specializations that impose themselves to stay competitive and competitive on the local, regional and world markets.

      This fundamental mutation is of global, general and ineluctable nature; its repercussions save neither no profession nor no specialty. One can summarize its consequences in a very brief manner:

•  No domain remains outside of the knowledge and the knowledge.

•  The main source of creation of wealth knows it.

•  The performance of all domain and all specialty tackles to the quantity and the quality of the knowledge (information, data and to know) that it is capable to generate, to brew and to communicate.

•  The ubiquity of the knowledge imposes the abolition of the borders and gates and the opening of the markets.

•  Globalization and internationalization allow the strongest (hear the most intelligent) to reveal and to impose their models (of thought, culture and civilization) to the weakest;  what returns the question of the identity and the more and more crucial specificity;  those that feel the danger of the marginalization take refuge more and more in their passed ideology and reject progress.

 

    It is about in any case for the architects to put themselves in a positive and aggressive manner position on the local, regional and world markets. And for that we try to improve the profile of the architects.

 

    But especially and it is the most difficult to pierce toward that what in our culture, and paradigms are immeasurable, irreducible and absolutely to protect and to continue, even in our edifications and our most sophisticated conceptions.
